The Root River State Trail is groomed for cross country skiing.  Weather has been great the past 2 weeks to maintain good skiing conditions.  There are plenty of places to snow shoe as well.

Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride

Your horse drawn sleigh ride begins in scenic Duschee Creek valley near Lanesboro.  Heavy lap blankets will keep you cozy as you glide through the fields and into the woods. From there the horses know their way home.  Back in town a steaming cup of hot cocoa or cider awaits you!
